PEZ Store Extends Free Shipping

The online PEZ store has just announced that offer for free shipping on all new 2003 dispensers has been extended. Previously it was to end on December 31st, 2003. The offer is still available, but the site doesn't say for how long.

PEZ Crystal Heroes

The online PEZ store has added a link for "Crystal Heroes" in the Limited Edition section. Currently, this leads to a blank page. Does this mean a set of crystal heroes are coming?

Burt Versus Bert

According to the PEZ web site, the new Sesame Street characters are: Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Burt, Ernie, Elmo, and Zoe (see the picture here). But according to the Sesame Street website, the name of Ernie's pal is Bert, not Burt (see here). So it seems PEZ has made a small spelling mistake. We thank Bertha for pointing this out. The good news is that the Sesame Street PEZ seem to be shipping out now.

Sesame Street And Easter PEZ

Collectors are finding the new Sesame Street and Easter PEZ at stores now. Apparently Zoe is fairly hard to find. But don't pay a high price for Zoe just yet. She'll probably become common soon enough.
Also, there is a report that the PEZ online store will begin shipping orders for the Sesame Street PEZ on Monday (thanks, David, for the info).

According to reports, the Mystical Crystal Ball dispenser has been discontinued. Although it seems to have disappeared from the PEZ web site, limited quantities are still available if you know how to order.

More Emergency Heroes Coming?

There is a rumor than more Emergency Heroes will be added to the set of heroes sometime in 2004. At this point, it's an unsubstantiated rumor. We'll post more information as it becomes available.
