PEZ Mini Mints

These "mini mints" are apparently under development at PEZ. No word yet on when exactly they will be released. This picture shows "mint" and "orange" flavors. There appears to be artwork by Andy Warhol on the packaging. But of course all of this might change before (or if) these ship.

"Cherry and raspberry are the newest varieties of those tasty little bricks of sugar that issue forth from the throats of character-themed dispensers. Cherry is an original PEZ flavor that was discontinued about 20 years ago and replaced with grape."

PEZ Easter Egg Recall

It is being reported that the new Easter Eggs have been recalled. The package was supposed to include two six-packs of candy, but shipped with only one six-pack. The weight recorded on the package -- 3.48 ounces -- includes two packs. With only one pack, the weight should be listed as 1.74 ounces.
If this is correct, then the 3.48 ounce Easter Eggs may be scarce and especially collectible.
The best source for Easter Eggs seems to be Wal-Mart stores.

New PEZ Book?

Amazon is taking pre-orders for a new book: Pez (Collectibles) by Susan Kahn and Nina Chertoff. The release date is October 11, 2006. The Amazon listing does not have a book description yet, nor does the listing on the Sterling Publishing site.
So we will keep watching to see what this book is about.

New Dispensers For Halloween And Christmas

Rumor has it that PEZ will add a new dispenser to the Halloween series: a Black Cat. It will also add Mrs. Claus to the Christmas series.
