New PEZ Funky Fizzy Brand

PEZ Europe has announced a new "Funky Fizzy" brand of products. The Funky Fizzy items will contain both four rolls of a new fizzy candy and a collectible toy. The toys will include "Rubber Friends", "Pencil Dinos", and "Crazy Clips". The Rubber Friends are erasers in the shape of ten different animals including a turtle, whale, dolphin, and polar bear. The Pencil Dinos are also erasers, but can cling to pens and pencils. The Crazy Clips are paper clips that have eight different figures on them.
In the last half of 2003, PEZ will also introduce "Candy Containers" for the fizzy candies, but details about these are not yet available.

PEZ continues to build on its recipe for success
Just like the existing PEZ ranges, the new product line Funky Fizzy is based on the successful Candy & Toy & Collect concept. Not only the low price segment but also the ever growing range make the Funky Fizzy products attractive and exciting again and again. Three different themes are being launched in 2003 alone.
Experience the Funky Fizzy worlds of adventure: with the cuddly polar bear, the friendly dolphin or the funny dinosaurs. The colorful animals and fun figures which come with the first range of the new Funky Fizzy product line really brighten up writing accessories at home or in school. Four fizzy rolls and a Crazy Clip, Rubber Friend or Pencil Dino in the foil bag give the popular fizzy candies, available under the brand name "Funky Fizzy", a colorful and new, attractive presence.
The 10 Funky Fizzy Rubber Friends feel quite at home in the gloriously colorful, shimmering underwater world and the icy polar surroundings. Whether it's a turtle, whale, dolphin or polar bear, the fun erasers are a must for every pencil case and every desk.
Collectors will also find the colorful Pencil Dinos hard to resist. Not only do they courageously cling to pencils or pens, they can also be used as erasers. Smoldering volcanoes and dense forests form the mysterious and legendary world of the three dinosaurs.
"Crazy Clips", the 8 cheeky paper clips, hold everything together that should be together. Use them to keep important notes held firmly together, or as a bookmark – the crazy figures add color and fun to school bags! In the second project you will also find Mr Bean adorning the striking Funky Fizzy displays. A tongue-coloring lollipop in the form of a PEZ candy to dip into fruity sherbet powder gives this range the name "Dip & Fun". Here too, the collector gets full value for money: fun stickers featuring Mr Bean and his friends are included with the candies.
Last but not least, in the second half of the year PEZ will be presenting the Funky Fizzy "Candy Containers", filled with lots of colorful fizzy candies. So, there's no stopping an exciting and colorful 2003.
