North Texas Gathering Is A Success Posted by Paul on February 25,2003: Todd and Misty McPEZ (aka McAllister) hosted a gathering of PEZ collectors in Dallas on Saturday. Today, Todd reported about it on the PEZHeads mailing list:
"We had glorious weather Saturday for our latest Dallas Area PEZ Gathering. Despite the location change, we had a great turnout. We believe there were about 20 in attendance, including a couple of non-PEZ collecting support members. Several folks even raved the highways and traffic to come down from Oklahoma."
"We enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting the new members of the group. Sorry, Curtis, we just don't have enough organization to meet monthly. :-) LOL But we do know that Alice and Lindsay plan to hostess the next gathering in May."
"Dick Melanson and Silvia Biermayr sent giveaways (Showtime displays and Vintage PEZ stickers, respectively) and they were a big hit! Thanks much to you both. Nobody left empty-handed and there were also some great deals on cool PEZ to be found."
"We think that everyone who made it had a great time and we hear that everybody made it home safely."
