PEZ Auction To Raise Money For TPD And The PezCar Posted by Paul on February 27,2006: The TPD Project and the PezCar project have launched an auction to raise money for their respective organizations. The acution is for a Smiley Face dispenser signed by Pam and Pierre Omidyar, the owners of EBAY. The dispenser is displayed in a frame with captions explaining the autographs.
Money raised from the auction will be split equally between the two project. The TPD project will divide its portion between the Dylan/EB Project and the Susie/Cancer Project. The PezCar project will use its portion towards the restoration of the PEZCar.
The auction is taking place in a page on the TPD's website. It ends Sunday, March 5th at Midnight EST.
The auctioneers explain:
"In sticking with our traveling theme, TPD is helping Gary Plunkett get a little closer to his dream of restoring The PEZCar and Gary is helping TPD raise money for our current projects. Similar to the dreams of TPD, Gary’s intent of the PezCar is to bring smiles to peoples faces, young and old, take peoples minds away from the day to day grind, worries, challenges etc and give underprivileged kids something to be happy about while raising money for various charities too."
