Variations In Madagascar PEZ Posted by Paul on June 10,2005: There are some variations between the European and U.S. versions of the Madagascar PEZ.
The European versions show "Made in Hungary" versus the "Made in China" of the U.S. ones.
The U.S version of the zebra has big pupils, while the European one has much smaller pupils.
The stem of the U.S. hippo is a darker pink than the European one.
The lion heads have a different shade of brown.
The European cards have different graphics, and also include a picture of Skippy the Penguin. Skippy was originally supposed to be made into a dispenser, but was later dropped from the set. So the picture of Skippy might be removed from the card in later versions.
